Dear Families,
My name is Betsy and I am the Administrative Manager here at Horizons. You will all get to know me well! I handle all sorts of things here at Horizons - from answering the phone, to setting up appointments, to hanging out with your kids while you're in an appointment. The list could go on and on! Working here is such a blessing because I get to work with the most amazing people and also see the most amazing progress happen for families. It's an adventure every day!
I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I'm married to an amazing man who is very handy and loves to work on everything, so we stay very busy when we are not working at our day jobs. We also enjoy spending time with family. Both of us come from VERY large families so it means a lot to us to spend time with them. Before working at Horizons I used to be a teacher and also the director of a daycare. These positions gave me a lot of experience working with children along a wide range of ages and abilities. Having prior experience with children and families serves me well in the variety of family-oriented things we do here. I'm very excited to get to know you and your family as you join us at Horizons.
