Alicia Johnson, BA

Instructional Assistant

Hi

My name is Alicia and I will be working at Horizons summer camp. I graduated from Western Michigan University in April with a Special Education degree. I'm originally from Troy, Michigan, just north of Detroit. Prior to working at Horizons I was employed at the Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center as a certified North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) instructor. My favorite part of working at the Cheff Center was combining my two of my favorite things: working with children and horses. I recently moved to Grand Rapids with my two cats, Lily and Lola. This summer, I am looking forward to working with new people and exploring new ways to think outside the box. When the time permits I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and family, including my 2 ½ year old nephew and newborn niece.
