As professionals working with individuals with autism and other related impairments you see firsthand the need for quality supports for this population and their families. You try to make a difference during the time you are with them, but recognize that there are many things that need to happen outside of their time with you as well. Whether you are a teacher, speech therapist, social worker, psychologist, physician, or one of the many other types of professionals that crosses paths with individuals with disabilities, you want to see them achieve all they can and have a satisfying life now and in the future.
